K-Self Cleaning Conveyor Pulleys are designed and constructed to perform in adverse conditions. Especially where material tends to build up on the pulley face. The principle of both the spiral and winged pulley is the inner self — cleaning tapered cone which discharges material away from the belt. Therefore, preventing build up on the pulley face, a primary cause of belt and splice damage.
Wing style pulleys can be used for large lump, sharp and/or sticky materials. Spiral type pulleys are used for dry free flowing materials.
