Ketika populer untuk roti volume tinggi, produksi biskut, ini bisa mengerjakan berbagai makanan. Panas bisa dikontrol, tetapi ini biasanya adalah seting kecepatan pada conveyor wire mesh, modular atau slat, yang mengontrol lama waktu dari makanan dikenakan pada panas.
