With the ORIGINAL PALLMANN Contra-Selector Mill, such spices can be pulverized totally without adding any cooling agents, directly packaged and delivered. A time- and cost intensive intermediate storing is no longer necessary. The operation method of the Contra-Selector Mill is very uncomplicated. The product is metered into the mill. The reduction of the material is done by impact and shearing effect between the impeller and the screen ring rotating in the opposite direction. The mill allows fine tuning of the particle size distribution curve by the selection of the screen, the relative speed of the rotating impeller to the screen ring and the choice of refining elements.
PALLMANN Contra-Selector Mills are designed in a robust, fabricated steel construction suitable for 24-hour operation. The bearing aggregate is flanged to the housing and is driven via V-belts. The large front door allows easy access to the grinding chamber for maintenance work. Screen ring, impeller and wear parts can be easily exchanged.
